Design and Technology

NanoBioFiltero is an environmentally sustainable water purification system that is compact and user-friendly. The key components are:

Filter Housing:

Stainless steel holder with a cylindrical shape that securely attaches to taps, featuring easy installation and replacement options.

Filter Material:

Bacterial cells encapsulated in a nanofiber matrix, blending biotechnology and nanotechnology. The soil bacterium Bacillus subtilis and chitosan—a non-toxic, biodegradable support matrix—are used to remove heavy metals like arsenic and trap pollutants effectively.

Input and Output Valves:

Includes an inlet valve connecting to the tap and an outlet valve for controlled filtered water flow.

Nylon Mesh:

Positioned below the filter material to facilitate the smooth flow of purified water.

How It Works

Working of NanoBioFiltero

NanoBioFiltero is the perfect choice for households
seeking a reliable, affordable, and environmentally conscious water purification system.

  • Tap water enters through the inlet valve and contacts the first layer of biomaterial, which traps bacteria, pesticides, heavy metals, and dissolved solids.
  • It then flows through the second biomaterial layer, capturing smaller contaminants for complete purification.
  • Filtered water passes through the nylon mesh and exits via the outlet valve, free from impurities and safe to drink.
